Sunflower Seed ‘Cream’

1 cup sunflower seeds, soaked for about 12 hrs

1/4 cup sesame seeds, soaked for about 12 hrs

6 tablespoons water

2 cloves garlic

Toss the water and rinse before blending.

I used this paste as the base for all the sauces I made while on this cleanse. Thank god! This helped to add substance and flavor to all the delicious, raw vegetables I ate. Seeds are easier to digest than nuts. And its best to soak all nuts and seeds prior to eating for easeful digesting and assimilating nutrients. This process is called sprouting; the nuts or seeds are soaked for about 24 hrs and you dehydrate them at 115 degrees for 12-24 hrs.

This recipe is pretty simple. As mentioned toss soaking water and rinse, put everything in a blender and blend until smooth. It shouldn’t be thin, but if thats what you want, go for it. If you’re adding more water, add 1 tablespoon at a time.
