Ingredients
- 5 clove fresh garlic (minced)
- 4-5 large boneless/skinless chicken breasts (or 1 per person)
- 2 Tbsp cooking oil
- 2 small bunches of green onions (whole stalk)
- 1 medium red onion (cut into small wedges)
- 2 c fresh or frozen snow pea pods or sugar snap peas
- 2 c fresh or frozen broccoli florets
- 1 c water chestnuts
- 1 tsp onion powder or fresh grated (fresh works best!)
- 1 tsp salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1 Tbsp sesame seed oil
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- 1 pinch fresh ginger ( about 1 scrape on a microplane)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 c chicken stock (cold)
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes (optional if you dont want the heat)
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 2 c white jasmine rice (uncooked)
- 2 Tbsp butter/margerine
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 pkg swansons flavor boost
