- Mint sprigs - 2 tbsp
- Ginger - 1 tsp (grated)
- Green chilly - 1 (minced)
- Turmeric powder - 1 pinch
- Asafoetida - 1 pinch
- Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Dry Pomegranate seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Carom seeds - less than 1/4
- Black pepper - less than 1/4 tsp (coarsely crushed)
- Salt - more than 1/4 tsp or as per taste
