• 2 teaspoons cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
• 3/4 teaspoon salt
• 3/4 cup granulated sugar
• 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
• 3 eggs
• 3/4 cup vegetable oil
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 cups grated carrots
• 1 cup well drained crushed pineapple
• 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans (toasted for better flavour)
• 1 package cream cheese (8 ounces/ 250 g)
• 1/4 cup butter softened
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 cup icing sugar
