  • 2 TSP Pepper
  • 2 TBSP Olive Oil
  • 1 cup good root beer
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • ½ cup white vinegar
  • 1 TSP Onion Powder
  • 1 TSP Garlic Powder
  • 1 TBSP Tabasco Sauce
  • 2½ TBSP Brown Sugar
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Toss chicken bratwursts with olive oil, salt and pepper. Cook for 30 minutes, turning every 10 minutes to evenly brown brats.

Meanwhile make sauce.

Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan and bring up to a simmer. Simmer till reduced by almost half, about 20 minutes.

Preheat broiler.

Cut rolls in half and brown under broiler, about 2-3 minutes.

Serve brats on buns and drizzle sauce over brat.
