  • 1 apple, diced (or you could substitute pear)
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 head of cabbage, chopped or shredded
  • 1 1/2 C. carrots, chopped or shredded
  • 1 Tb. fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/3 C. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 C. raisins
  • sea salt to taste
Instructions

Chop or shred cabbage and carrots, place in large mixing bowl.In small bowl, add diced apple and lemon juice; toss well and add to cabbage and carrots.Now add in mayonaise and apple cider vinegar, tossing it all together.Throw in the raisins and mix again.Season to taste.Refrigerate for at least an hour to help the flavors blend.Note: can be made vegan with vegan mayonnaise
