Combine first six ingredients in 13x9x2-inch casserole. Set aside.
Combine sugar, butter & applesauce in saucepan & heat thoroughly, stirring occasionally. Spoon over fruit.
Sprinkle with brown sugar & pecans.
Bake at 300 for 1 hour.
Serve hot. (May be prepared ahead & frozen. To serve, thaw overnight in refrigerator.)
