

In a flameproof casserole, combine honey, vinegar, onion, chili, and garlic.
Bring to a boil over high heat.
Remove the lid, and smash the tomatoes with a potato masher until a chunky salsa-like puree forms.
Blend for at least 3 minutes on high, or until the ketchup is smooth.
Store in an air-tight container in the fridge until the next time you're jonesing for a burger.
