Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1/2 cup Brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/4 cup Melted butter or margarine
- 3/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 3/4 cup Flaked coconut
- 2 Eggs
- 1 1/2 cups Flour
- 3 tablespoons Half and half or light cream
- 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1/2 cup Chopped nuts
- 1 cup Uncooked oatmeal
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 1/4 cups Boiling water
Instructions
For cake
Pour batter into a well greased and floured 9"x13" baking pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes.For Topping
Combine all ingredients spread evenly over cake and broil until frosting becomes bubbly.
