• 1 1/2 cup almond meal (see Note)
• 5 egg whites

• 2 1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar

• Filling:
• 1/2 cup egg whites
• 1 1/4 cup sugar
• 1/2 pound room-temperature butter
• 3/4 cup raspberry jam
