- 1/2 pound lean ground beef
- 2 cups canned whole tomatoes, chopped (or canned chopped tomatoes)
- 1/2 cup quartered bocconcini (mozzarella balls) or 1/2-inch pieces of fresh mozzarella
- 2 tablespoons finely grated Parmesan cheese
