- 1 teaspoon red chili powder (like cayanne)
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 medium russet potato (peeled and chopped into small peas sized squares)
- 1 small yellow onion (cut about the same size as the potatoes)
- 1 box of frozen chopped spinach (10 oz)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 cups vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1 cup of water or less
