Spanakopita Inspired Creamy Baked Pasta
Ingredients
- Spinach-Chard Filling
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 small onions, diced
- 2 shallots, sliced
- 6 cloves garlic, cut into slivers
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 5 ounces fresh baby spinach
- 1 bunch swiss chard, leaves coarsely chopped, stems separated and diced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- For the Pasta
- 8 ounces small shaped pasta
- 2/3 cup cream
- 1 1/2 cups grated gruyere
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan
