- 2 eggs (just 1 if using real meat)
- 1 or 2 grinds of freshly ground pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- for the pasta & sauce
- 250 g rotini pasta
- 2 cups diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 1/2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon dried basil leaves (or 4-5 leaves of fresh basil)
- 3/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 1/4 cup grated cheese blend
