- 10 fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 medium lemon
- 8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt, plus more as needed
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 12 ounces dried spaghetti
