- 2 bay leaves
- 1 cup white wine
- 1 pound great northern beans, soaked overnight then drained
- 3 cups stock (or water)
- kosher salt and cracked black pepper
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
