- 1-2 fat cloves of garlic
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoons coarse sea salt
- 1 lime
- 1 small or ½ medium red onion
- 1-2 small fresh Serrano chile peppers
- 4 ripe Haas avocados
- 1-2 small ripe fresh tomatoes, cored, seeded, and diced (about ½ cup total)
- fresh cilantro, leaves picked, about ½ cup loosely packed (optional, but suggested)
- additional Kosher or sea salt to taste
