- 1 ounce dried red chile peppers, seeds removed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 large onion, minced
- 2 jalapeños, minced
- 6 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 pound shrimp, cleaned and sliced in half
- 1 large bunch cilantro leaves, plus more for serving
- salt, to taste
- 1 avocado, cubed, for serving
