Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat pastry flour, or all-purpose if want
- 1 cup coarse graham cracker crumbs, divided
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 t baking powder
- 1 t baking soda
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 t cardamom or cinnamon, optional
- 1 (3/4 lb) sweet potato, peeled + grated
- 3 T butter, at room temperature
- 1 (6 oz) container plain nonfat yogurt (I used Greek yogurt.)
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts
