Smoker or BBQ Tandoori Chicken
Ingredients
- 3 pounds chicken thighs, bone-in (boneless can be used)
- 2 cups plain yogurt (I like Greek)
- 1/2 onion, grated on a box grater
- 3 teaspoons garam masala
- 1 teaspoon tumeric
- 1 teaspoon coriander, ground
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 lemon, zest and juice
- 2 tablespoons crushed garlic (or 1 clove)
- 2 teaspoons crushed ginger
