- * 1 teaspoon aleppo pepper or 3/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flake
- * 1 28 ounce can crushed tomato with juice
- * kosher salt, to taste
- * black pepper, to taste
- * 5 large basil leaf, thinly sliced
