Ingredients
- 1 28 oz can whole or pureed tomatoes (not tomato sauce)
- 1 Parmesan rind
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon Red wine vinegar
- 5 tablespoons Butter
- 1/2 Onion, peeled and cut in half
- 2 Garlic cloves crushed but left whole so you can remove them later
- 3-4 Basil leaves
