- 8 cups chicken or vegetable stock
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon butter (+ 3 tablespoons to finish)
- Pinch kosher salt (to taste)
- Pinch black ground pepper (to taste)
- Pinch smoked paprika
- Dash cayenne pepper
