Ingredients
- 1 vanilla bean, or 1 teaspoon Nielsen-Massey vanilla bean paste
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup organic pure cane sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 2 extra large eggs
- 1 teaspoon Bourbon Madagascar vanilla extract (the vanilla I prefer for all desserts)
- 1 cup heavy cream
