- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons freshly-grated orange zest
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon orange extract
- 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 cup candied orange peel
- For the Glaze and Toppings:
- 1 egg white (reserved from dough)
- 3 tablespoons almond flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 tablespoons sliced almonds
- 2 tablespoons pearl sugar
