Ingredients
- 8 slices of bread (see Author Notes)
- 2 (12-ounce) jars whole artichoke hearts in water, drained and squeezed dry
- 3 sheets nori (about 8x7 ½ inches), ground into powder (makes about 3 tablespoons)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 4 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 8 slices provolone cheese
