- 600 gms chicken curry cut
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh coconut, grated

- 1tbsp coriander seeds
- 4 cloves
- 1/2 inch cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 asafoetida
- 1 tbsp tamarind pulp
- 7-10 curry leaves
- 1tsp turmeric powder
- 6 red dry chillies
- 1 tbsp ginger, garlic, green chilli paste
- Salt as per taste
