  • 1 stalk (rib) of celery, diced

  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1-2 jalapenos, diced (less if you don't like spice)
  • 2-3 tablespoons chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1-2 teaspoons crushed red chili pepper (to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne (to taste)
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (a little less than 2 ounces), melted
  • 2-3 tablespoons brown sugar (optional and to taste)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup (optional and to taste)
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth (optional, for thinning)
  • salt and pepper to taste
