- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, preferably mexican
- 1 clove
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, preferably mexican
- 1/2 cup roasted unsalted peanuts
- 1 1/2 tablespoons canola oil
- About 2 cups chicken or vegetable stock
- Salt to taste
