- 8-10 black peppercorns
- 2 sprigs of cilantro
- 1 medium carrot, peeled and cut in half
- 1 medium stalk celery, cut in half
- 1 small clove of garlic, peeled and finely grated
- One 1-inch piece of ginger, peeled and finely grated
- 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon light agave nectar
- 1/2 tablespoon water
- 1/2 tablespoon spicy toasted sesame oil
