- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin, ground
- 1⁄2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 teaspoons honey or 2 teaspoons brown sugar
