- 2 pounds shelled and deveined large shrimp
- 1/2 pound cleaned squid, cut into 1/2-inch rings, tentacles halved
- 2 pounds tomatoes—halved, seeded and finely diced
- 2 Hass avocados, cut into 1/2-inch dice
- 4 scallions, white and tender green parts only, thinly sliced
- 1 small red onion, finely diced
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 1 tablespoon chopped flat-leaf parsley
