- * 3 lb ground beef
- * 2-3 onion (2 if large)
- * 3 carrot
- * 2 celery stalk
- * 2 sweet bell pepper (red, yellow or orange)
- * 3 or 4 clove of garlic
- * 2/3 cup red wine
- * 2 28 oz can of whole tomato (san marzano recommended)
- * 1 28 oz jar of strained tomato (passata)
- * 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- * 1 tsp pepper
- * 2 tsp dried oregano
- * 2 tsp dried basil
- * 1 tsp dried rosemary
- * 1 tsp anchovy paste
- * 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- * salt to taste
