- 425g can whole peeled tomatoes
- 1 cup dry red wine
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1⁄3 cup tomato paste
- 11⁄2 teaspoons dried mixed Italian herbs
- pinch of sugar
- 250g smoked sausage, cut diagonally into thick slices
- 440g can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 zucchini, thinly sliced
- potato mash and rocket leaves, to serve
