- 4 medium carrots, peeled and diced
- 3 celery stalks, diced
- 4 large garlic cloves, finely minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh sage
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
- 1 pound linguica sausage, cut on a diagonal into 1/3 inch thick slices
- 2 links hot Italian sausage, meat removed from the casings
- 2 cups, chopped cooked chicken
- 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 stick unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoon freshly minced parsley
- 2 tablespoons minced chives
- pinch of cayenne pepper
- 1 - 15 ounce can diced tomatoes with juice
- 1 - 15 ounce can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
