Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 C finely chopped kale
- 1 C chopped onion
- 1 rib celery, finely chopped
- 1 link (3 oz) fully cooked chicken sausage, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 C clam juice (we used Bar Harbor)
- 12 littleneck clams, scrubbed
- 12 mussels, scrubbed and debearded
- 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh thyme
- 12 lg shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 1/2 C canned cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 tbsp half-and-half
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice + lemon wedges for serving
- 1/2 tsp red-pepper flakes (optional)
