- 1 lb pork shoulder, trimmed of fat and cut into 1 inch cubes
- 6 pieces of hot pita bread (pocketless)
- 1 large tomatoes, diced
- 1⁄2 small red onion, sliced
- 1⁄2 small cucumber, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- For the tzatziki
- 6 ounces plain Greek yogurt
- 1⁄2 cucumber, peeled and shredded
- 1 garlic clove, pressed
- 2 teaspoons distilled white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
