Beef Bourguignon
Ingredients
- 1 lb of stew meat (or plain old top round..chopped into bite sized chunks)
- 6 slices of bacon - cut up
- 1 small onion diced
- 2 beef bouillon cubes (or 2 tsp beef bouillon powder) - dissolved in 1 1/2 c hot water.
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp crushed garlic (that stuff in the jar)
- 2-3 tsp flour
- 1 1/2 cup Red cooking wine
- Dash of Worcestershire sauce (optional)
