- * 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaf (1/2 teaspoon dried)
- * 4 tablespoon unsalted butter at room temperature, divided
- * 3 tablespoon all purpose flour
- * 1 pound frozen small whole onion
- * 1 pound fresh mushroom stem discarded, cap thickly sliced
