- 375 g (13oz) block all-butter puff pastry
- 1 medium egg, beaten
- 4 tbsp. icing sugar, sifted
- 227 g tub clotted cream
- 2 tsp. vanilla bean paste
- 300 g (11oz) strawberries hulled and thinly sliced
- 3 tbsp. strawberry jam, to glaze
