- * 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder

- * salt to taste
- * 3 cup water
- * 1 tablespoon cilantro or coriander leaf for garnishing
- for tempering:
- * 2 teaspoon ghee (clarified butter)
- * 1/2 teaspoon mustard seed
- * 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed
- * 1 dried red chilie
- * cinnamon stick
- * 4 clove
- * a pinch hing (asafoetida)
- * 6-7 curry leaf
