Ingredients

• 2 yellow onions, finely diced
• 8 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 1/2 lb plum (Roma) tomatoes, peeled, seeded, and chopped
• 1 Tbsp chopped fresh basil
• Salt and freshly ground pepper
