Ingredients

- 4 ounces bittersweet chocolate
- 1 cup heavy cream, divided into 1/4 cup and 3/4 cup
- 4 tablespoons sugar, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon pure peppermint extract
- 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
- Fresh mint, grated, chocolate, or sparkling sugar, for garnish (optional)
