- Peel of 1 lemon
- 3/4 cup gold rum
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 12 prunes
- For the Manjar Custard
- 4 cups milk
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 4 large egg yolks
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter, cut into 4 pieces and chilled
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
