- Bunch fresh-flat leaf parsley, leaves picked and finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 egg

- 1 cup/235 ml white wine
- Extra-virgin olive oil, for deep-frying
- La Salsa di 5 Minuti Tomato sauce, as much as you need, optional, recipe follows
- 4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- Dried chile peppers, crushed
- 1 (28-ounce) can peeled plum tomatoes, pureed
