Ingredients
- * 2 teaspoon oil
- * 1.25 teaspoon urad dal
- * 1.25 teaspoon methi seed (fenugreek seed)
- * 1.5 tablespoon tuvar dal (arhar dal or pigeon pea spilt and skinned)
- * 1 teaspoon coriander seed (sabut dhania)
- * 1/2 inch piece of ginger (adrak)
- * 3 tablespoon grated fresh coconut
- * 4 to 6 dry red chilie (sookhi lal mirch)
- * 1 cup chopped green capsicum (bell pepper or shimla mirch)
- * 1/2 cup water
- for making the kuzhambu:
- * 2 cup curd (plain natural yogurt or dahi) -taste better if it i
- slightly sour
- * 1/2 to 2/3 cup water
- * salt to taste
- for tempering:
- * 2 teaspoon oil
- * 1 teaspoon mustard seed (rai)
- * 1 teaspoon cumin seed (jeera)
- * 1 dry red chili (sookhi lal mirch)
- * 1 finely chopped green chili, thi i optional but add a lovely
