Ingredients
- 1 cup pinto beans, soaked overnight, then drained
- 2 cups beer (lager beer Corona)
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons chicken base (or 2 bouillon cubes)
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon epazote (optional)
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 ounces bacon, chopped (and fat rendered out)
