Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 Spanish onion, cut into 1/4-inch pieces
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cans (28 ounces each) crushed tomatoes
- 2 canned chipotle chiles packed in adobe sauce, minced, or 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup unsulfured molasses
- Coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper
