Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Bengal gram flour
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- 2 tablespoon garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon carom seeds (ajwain)
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder (optional but desirable)
- Dash salt (or to taste)
- 2 tablespoons lime juice (juice of 1 lime or 1 lemon )
- 1 pound/500 grams deboned filleted fish (any firm white fish), cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
- Oil for deep frying
