- 3 cups mung bean sprouts, washed
- 1 cup shrimps, shelled
- 1/2 cup green onion, sliced
- 1/2 cup carrots, julienned
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 2/3 cup cornstarch
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 medium sized eggs
- 1 cup shrimp juice (pounded shrimp shell in water and strained)
- 2 tablespoon spoons achuete seeds steeped in 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground pepper
